Budget proposals lay ground for long term reforms: NITI Aayog VC

NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Bery stated that the Budget 2024-25’s review of direct tax and customs duty rates will lay the groundwork for long-term reforms. This structural budget aims to improve labor productivity by strengthening the workforce-private sector relationship, maintaining fiscal consolidation, and providing a vision for "Vikshit Bharat."
