Paris Olympics 2024: Know Your Athlete PV Sindhu

PV Sindhu will be eyeing for her third Olympics medal after winning a silver in Rio (2016) and bronze in Tokyo (2021). A third medal in Paris will make her the most decorated Indian athlete in Olympics.

New Delhi: Ace Indian shuttler PV Sindhu is already a two-time Olympics medallist. But the elusive gold medal in the Olympics has remained out of her grasp so far. A silver medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics was one of the biggest highlights of her career and she followed it up with a bronze in the Tokyo Olympics.

Sindhu will be gunning for an unprecedented third Olympic medal come Paris but a tough draw sees her pitted against defending Olympics champion Chen Yufei in the quarterfinals. Sindhu is currently ranked 13th in the world and led India to women’s team gold in the Badminton Asia Team Championships this year.
