A customer was left horrified when the second-hand trainers they purchased online arrived covered in ‘poo’.

After purchasing a pair of children’s Nike trainers on Vinted for low sum of £1.50, the savvy shopper thought they had bagged a great deal – but the response from the seller left them shocked.

But upon arrival, the buyer opened their package to find the soles caked in brown filth – which they claim is ‘stinky poo’.

After complaining, the unhappy customer was told to ‘stop whinging and give them a clean’.

The messages between the two were shared on social media, where they have gone viral garnering thousands of likes.

Writing to the seller, the buyer wrote: ‘Why is there f***ing poo on them? You said they weren’t worn. My house f***ing stinks. They are absolutely covered.’

The seller replied: ‘They were basically not worn, only couple times, could pass off as brand new apart from the soles so just listed as new. Stop being rude x.’

The seller then said no additional photos had been requested of the item before she shipped it, adding: ‘For £1.50 you got a good deal, stop whinging and give them a clean.

‘It’s £1.50 you obviously can’t afford them because you’re whinging so much. Maybe it’s time to look for a job.’

Vinted’s website shares that if the item a customer received is ‘significantly not as described’, they can follow steps to suspend the order and request a refund.

It remains unclear if the customer did this.

Vinted has been reached out to for comment.
