Tottenham Hotspur are looking to offload a number of players this summer, be it permanently or temporarily. One player appears to be in line for a loan spell, and Turkish champions Galatasaray are keen on making that happen.

Does Djed Spence have a future at Spurs?

It has not been an easy time for Djed Spence in the two years he has been a Tottenham player. The young full-back has spent the last 18 months on loan at Rennes, Leeds United, and Genoa after failing to find his feet in North London.

Spence has been in resurgent form since returning to Spurs this summer, and even bagged a goal in the pre-season win over Hearts last week.

But, it remains to be seen whether he has a future at the club under Ange Postecoglou. The latest report from Turkish outlet Gs Gazete claims Spence is available for loan, and Galatasaray could be in line to take up that option.

It is thought signing a right-back is a priority for the Turkish champions after they released former Spurs man, Serge Aurier, and Spence is now a target.

Apparently, Galatasaray have been priced out of a move for Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka and see Spence as a cheaper option. Spurs are hoping to send the defender to a club that will give him regular minutes and it is believed the Turkish side would be a good fit.

Spence could be back on track

Whether Spence does leave or not remains to be seen. He has had a good pre-season, both on and off the pitch, and it is thought Spence has impressed those in charge at Spurs (Paul O’Keefe).
