Guilderland man accused of having child sex abuse images

GUILDERLAND, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The State Police arrested a Guilderland man for allegedly having child sex abuse images. Tufan Oner, 24, was charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child.

Oner's arrest stemmed from a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, according to police. Troopers say they also executed a search warrant at Oner's home on Tuesday.

Oner was arrested on Tuesday, issued an appearance ticket for Guilderland Town Court for August 1, and released.
