Mall of Cyprus cinema closes its doors for good

The K-Cineplex cinema at the Mall of Cyprus closed for good on Sunday. The cinema had been open for 17 years.

Announcing the closure, the Mall of Cyprus expressed its “gratitude” to K-Cineplex “for its many years of service and contribution to the entertainment of our mall’s visitors”.

They added that they are “actively working to fill the vacant space with new tenants who will focus on improving the overall Mall of Cyprus experience”.

New additions to the mall are expected to be announced in due course, with the mall saying the additions “are expected to bring fresh energy and innovative experiences to our guests”.

They are expected to include a “strengthening” of the mall’s fashion brands and stores, which, they say, will “cater to different styles and preferences, ensuring a complete shopping experience”.

In addition, they said, they hope to create “new entertainment areas for all age groups”, as well as improvements to facilities, upgraded interiors, expanded dining options, and an improved customer service.
