Chinese army representative: We hope to conduct new joint drills with Belarus

Belarusian and Chinese military drilled anti-terror actions as part of a combined tactical group at the Brestsky training range. The final day of the joint Belarusian-Chinese anti-terror exercise Attacking Falcon was held on 18 July. The drill was observed by Chief of the General Staff - First Deputy Defense Minister of Belarus Pavel Muraveiko and Deputy Chief of Staff of the Corps, Senior Colonel Liu Zhen. “China and Belarus have developed the relation of a true friendship. The joint exercise improves our relations and raises mutual understanding. Besides, we are familiarizing ourselves with your military training experience,” Liu Zhen said. He noted that this was not the first joint training of Belarusian and Chinese servicemen: “The People's Liberation Army of China has an open approach. In the future we hope to hold more joint exercises [with Belarusian servicemen]. Liu Zhen said that in the training of Belarusian servicemen considerable attention is paid to the practical component. “The most valuable thing for the Chinese delegation is to learn your approach. Practical approach, practical military training. And, of course, the relationship between us is the most important thing,” Liu Zhen noted.
