Argentine basketball legend Scola: Olympics goes beyond sports
From 1992 in Barcelona, Spain, to 2021 in Tokyo, Japan, USA dominated the men's basketball at the Olympics by winning seven of the eight gold medals. The only exception was at the hands of Argentina, who beat them in the semifinals in 2004 in Athens, Greece, before winning the title in the end.
Luis Scola was a member of that Argentine team. He has participated in a total of five editions of Olympic Games betwee
