Budget projection of 10.5 pc nominal GDP reasonable: DEA secy

Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth stated that the Budget projected a nominal GDP growth of 10.5% to avoid a larger fiscal deficit. The fiscal deficit target has been reduced to 4.9% for the current year from 5.1%, alongside higher revenue provisions and conservative estimates to manage borrowings effectively.
