Railway's fund allocation to Bengal, Bihar, Jharkand at record high: Vaishnaw

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated that West Bengal now receives more funding for rail projects compared to when Mamata Banerjee was the railway minister. Train accidents have dropped by 60 per cent due to technology and operational changes. However, land acquisition issues in West Bengal hinder development. Bihar and Jharkhand have also seen significant funding increases for rail projects.
