Glenmont Stewart's celebrates grand re-opening Friday

Stewart's Shops at 33 Frontage Rd. is celebrating its grand re-opening on Friday, July 26 with all-day specials. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the rebuilt shop will begin at 11 a.m.

GLENMONT, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Stewart's Shops at 33 Frontage Rd. is celebrating its grand re-opening on Friday, July 26 with all-day specials. A ribbon cutting ceremony for the rebuilt shop will begin at 11 a.m.

The store officially reopened on May 31, located next door to the previous brick building. The new store offers a larger variety of products and space for its customers, according to a May 31 announcement.

"Our newly built shop in Glenmont is now open, and we’re incredibly proud of the new features we’ve added for the community,” Chad Kiesow, Chief Operating Officer, said in a statement. “With expanded food options, more outdoor amenities, and soon-to-be-available Tesla chargers, we’re excited to offer an enhanced experience for everyone.”

The new shop offers a beverage bar with make-your-own coffee, cold brew and a hot chocolate dispenser. The store also offers a new food bar, a beer cave and nine picnic tables outside for ample seating.

All-day specials include free single scoop cones, 99-cent any size hot coffee or tea, 99-cent make-your-own hot dogs, 99-cent 20-ounce Stewart's Shops soda or refresher, 99-cent pizza slices and $6 footlong subs. The shop is also offering 20-cents off fuel per gallon for all grades of gas.

The renovation is part of Stewart's Shops' $50 million capital investment plan for renovations, construction and commercial kitchen in Saratoga. In honor of the re-opening, Stewart's Shops will be making a $1,500 donation to the Bethlehem YMCA to support their Running Start Program.
