Wingstop sets opening date for new Capital Region location
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Wingstop, a national chicken wing chain, is soon opening its second location in the Capital Region. The new location, which has a Troy address but is located within the town of Brunswick, is projected to open on Monday, July 29.
“We’re excited to see Wingstop become a favorite, go-to spot for flavor in the Troy community,” said a Wingstop spokesperson.
The Wingstop menu includes bone-in and boneless chicken wings, chicken tenders, and chicken sandwiches available in 11 different flavors such as Mango Habanero, Garlic Parmesan, and Original Hot. Sides include fries, Cajun-fried corn, and veggie sticks. You can view the full menu on the Wingstop website.
Wingstop was founded in Texas in 1994 and now has more than 2,000 locations around the world. In New York, the chain has more than 50 restaurants. In March, Wingstop opened in Albany’s Westgate Plaza at 911 Central Avenue.
After the restaurant opens, customers can visit the Wingstop website or download the Wingstop app to order dine-in, takeout, or delivery. Wingstop Troy is located in the plaza at 740 Hoosick Road and will be open every day from 11 a.m. to midnight.
