Actors have to be very cagey when promoting these big superhero movies. On the one hand, people want spoilers! On the other, people actually don’t want spoilers and get super weird about them. Talk-show hosts want to get the big scoop, but they also don’t want to ruin their relationship with Disney or Warner Bros. Discovery. It’s a very sticky wicket. But Deadpool & Wolverine isn’t Hugh Jackman’s first cricket match. He’s found a new workaround, which doesn’t see him blabbing like Tom Holland or carrying a secret for months like Andrew Garfield. Rather than confirm any of the big rumored D&W cameos, Jackman simply denied a few. Jimmy Fallon is not a variant Deadpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, nor is King Charles. There!
