Aeromexico introduces daily nonstop flight from Newark to Mexico City

NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) — If you're searching for a new nonstop flight from the tri-state area to Mexico, your quest ends here. Aeromexico offers a daily flight from Newark to Mexico City.

It's part of a cooperation agreement between Aeromexico and Delta Airlines.

"The new service to Newark will complement the existing four daily operations offered by AeromexicoDelta to New York – JFK," read a press release from Aeromexico. "Growing our presence by over 20% while providing another gateway to New York and new access to the Northern New Jersey market. With these five combined flights, Aeromexico and Delta will provide the most options between these two important metro areas and will be only offered to both JFK and Newark." 

Starting in late October, an Aeromexico flight will depart Newark Liberty International Airport at 7:05 a.m. and land at Mexico City International Airport at 11:30 a.m. The reverse flight will depart Mexico City at 3:45 p.m. and land in Newark at 9:30 p.m. 

The route will be served by a 737 MAX-8 aircraft with a 166-passenger capacity. Amenities include extra legroom, in-seat entertainment, high-speed Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and fast-charging plugs.
