One injured in Church Point shooting, police say
ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- The Church Point Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting that left one person injured, police confirmed.
Church Point Police Chief Dale Thibodeaux said the shooting occurred on St. Jude Street at 11:39 p.m. Tuesday. The shooting resulted in one person sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, he said.
Thibodeaux said the investigation is in the preliminary stages and information is limited at this time.
