I save £100s with ‘secret’ airport hack that lets me sneak extra bag on plane – it’s completely legal & costs just £1.55
A SAVVY traveller has revealed how she beats airline’s strict hand luggage rules by sneaking an extra bag onto the plane for £1.55.
Lisa Brown says she’s saved “hundreds of pounds” on “pricey” airline bag fees with this completely legal hack.

Afterwards, she stuffed the Duty Free bag full of things to avoid having to pay for more luggage.
Lisa can be seen strolling through Stansted airport before catching her Ryanair flight to Lithuania in the clip, which has accumulated 2.9 million views and 89,400 comments.
After checking in online, Lisa gets her extras checked through security in a different bag and then puts them in an airport shopping bag.
Lisa, from London, told Luxury Travel Daily: “A lot of people don’t notice the signs and don’t know how to use it effectively to save money.
“I’ve been doing it for years, I’ve probably saved hundreds.
“My favourite part is not having to wait for my bag at the end.
“I do think the price of luggage can be pricey, on top of paying for the actual flight.
“I check in online and I have my extra things already separated in a bag when I’m going through security.
“By checking in online, they only check your bags at the gate, which makes this method effective. Additionally, you can save the bag for your next trip to save even more money.
“I’ve tried and tested this hack at London Stansted Airport, London Luton, and Gatwick.”
She can be seen in the video pointing to a sign that says, “take two bags on board,” which permits passengers to bring one piece of hand luggage and one shopping bag from the airport.
Lisa explains: “Do not pay extra baggage fees. Here’s an airport secret they do not want you to know.
“You can get additional luggage for £1.55.
“If you’re like me and have decided to catch a super cheap flight that only comes with your personal item bag then this is the hack that you need.
“Today I’ve decided to bring a bag that is bigger than the requirements and I know it so I’m going to have to use my baggage trick and I do this specifically to show you guys how well it works.
“So, you go through duty free but you’re not going to exit just yet. You purchase the cheapest thing in duty free which is currently this water for and grab yourself a bag for 10p.
“Fill this bag up with all your extra luggage and it’s time to board your flight.
“Yes, this hack is legal. One airport shopping bag is free. And there you have it. This is how you get extra luggage on low cost airlines for £1.55.”
'Brilliant' hack to get more Ryanair luggage for free

A WOMAN has been hailed as “genius” after revealing a hack to get more luggage for free on a Ryanair flight.
Sara Loureiro took to TikTok to share how her friend Nina managed to take four bags on holiday with her, whilst paying for just one.
In the video, Nina can be seen in the airport, wearing a long black dress and silver cowboy boots.
She pulled up the dress and revealed that underneath she was wearing three cross body handbags.
Nina twirled around, showing off the bags, before pulling her dress down again, to reveal that the bags were completely invisible underneath.
When going through airport security, you can have as many bags as you like, so Nina just had to put the bags on under her dress just before getting on the plane, as it is the individual airlines that have strict baggage allowances.
The video was flooded with comments as some followers thanked her for the helpful tip while others begged her to stop sharing the secret before airlines catch on.
One person wrote: “I’ve been doing this for a long time. I save the bag and reuse it.”
Another one said: “Please stop spreading before Ryanair catch on.”
A third person added: “The other hack is to pre order your toiletries at Boots online and get them delivered to the airport. You get a bag and full sized products at high street prices.”
Someone else wrote: “I do it for 10p, I just buy a bag from duty free.”
A fifth follower said: “I just bring a reusable bag and open it up and put my items in past duty free, done four flights with this and no issue.”
According to Ryanair’s website, bringing a 10kg check in bag will set you back between £11.99 and £35.99.
Easyjet fees start at £6.99 for hold luggage weighing up to 15kg.
Previously, another TikToker, Sam Petrarca revealed another tip for taking extra items onboard a Ryanair flight for free.
Meanwhile, a frequent flyer has shared how he uses cheap lightweight bags whenever he travels to take more luggage on flights for only £2.
