Scoot Henderson x Puma Release Scoot Zeros in Two New Colorways

O.D.D. is a red, black and white colorway while Retro is red, yellow and black.

Puma Hoops and NBA point guard Scoot Henderson have announced two new colorways of their Scoot Zeros basketball sneaker, referred to as O.D.D. City and Retro. The former will be available on Aug. 2 while the latter drops on Sept. 6.

Both O.D.D. City and Retro will be sold for $100. The red, black and white O.D.D. City colorway pays homage to basketball culture in Portland, Oregon, where Henderson plays for the Portland Trailblazers. The design is meant to represent “decades-long history of basketball excellence” and embody Portland’s “out there” spirit.

The Scoot Zeros in the Retro colorway, meanwhile, draw inspiration from the past. They are meant to “channel the spirit of the ’70s when ‘Rip City’ was more than a nickname, bringing the legacy into the modern era in a bold red colorway.”

Scoot Zeros are influenced by Henderson’s mantra O.D.D., or “overly determined to dominate.” The sneakers feature Profoam EVA, a reinforced formstrip and a “high abrasion” tread pattern.

20-year-old Henderson first teamed up with Puma in 2023 during his rookie year in the NBA; he was the third pick in the first round of the draft that year. The Scoot Zeros were first released in a colorway known as Georgia Peach, paying homage to Henderson’s home state. The second Scoot Zeros release announced the start of an ongoing collaboration with Frito Lay’s Flamin’ Hot Cheetos; the vibrant-hued sneaker features a design inspired by the popular snack. This was followed up by the Northern Lights Scoot Zeros, featuring a pink, blue and black colorway.
