Kevin Costner’s Ex-Wife Christine Baumgartner Seemingly Downsized Her Lifestyle to Be Closer to Her New Beau

It seems Kevin Costner’s ex-wife, Christine Baumgartner, is majorly downgrading her living situation to be near her new boyfriend, Josh Connor. 

Now, Connor and Baumgartner haven’t moved in yet to make a blended family, but Baumgartner reportedly switched out her $40,000-a-week Montecito rental for a $22,000-a-month. Now, we know, that’s still a super high rent, but this one is a downgrade from her old home since this one is only three bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, has a smaller backyard, and no pool; but there is one major upside. This new home is less than two miles away from Connor’s home, according to DailyMail.

In photos obtained by DailyMail, we can still see that her reported new home is still massive, but we also see pics of her old home: a four-bedroom home that had a large swimming pool and custom fittings.

But she’s focusing on her family as she co-parents with Costner, and her new romance with Connor.

For those who don’t know, Costner and Baumgartner’s divorce played out quite publicly, with many jabs and back-and-forths about their finances making headlines.

Allegedly, Baumgartner and Connor have been dating since early 2024, despite Costner alleging there was an overlap between their relationship and her new one. Baumgartner and Connor allegedly met through their daughters, both 13, who are close friends, but Connor and Costner were pals beforehand.

Friends told DailyMail earlier this year that Connor has been telling his business associates and pals that he’s serious about Baumgartner.

“Josh knows he can give her what Kevin didn’t, even though he is a high-powered executive with his own demanding career,” the source said. “He also know how important her children are to her – as his are to him. Trying to blend two families isn’t easy but she’s worth it.”
