Who is Dominique Sachse?
Dominique Sachse is a broadcast journalist, content creator, and author.
The newly wed now lives in Dallas, Texas after moving from her Houston home this year.
She was the primetime news anchor for NBC affiliate KPRC2 for 28 years.
The Emmy Award-winning anchor has covered United States presidential inaugurations, English royal weddings, and the Olympics.
She married Nick Florescu in 2012 and in a 2022 YouTube video, Dominique revealed that they were divorcing.
Two years later, Dominique announced – in a Q&A on her ‘Over 50 and flourishing’ podcast – that she married her new husband at a private ceremony in June 2024.
The former primetime news presenter has chosen not to disclose the identity of her new husband, but did mention that he was a life-long friend.
Flashing her wedding ring on camera she said: “This very, very incredible, special, amazing person in my life is someone I’ve known since we were in our twenties,” she told viewers.
“Longtime friend. And somebody who actually lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“It has been kind of a neat thing for me to be in a bubble, in a way.
“To have something sacred, and private, and just for me… It was something that I really wanted, that we really wanted, to covet that privacy.”

Who is Dominique Sachse’s ex-husband Nick Florescu?
Nick Florescu is a businessman based in Houston, Texas.
After graduating from Boston College in 1974, Nick worked in the oil energy sector.
Later, he founded the advertising agency Centrade USA in 1991 and has served as its president for over 30 years.
Since 2011, Nick has led Centrade USA’s digital online expansion, Kubis Interactive, Inc according to his LinkedIn.
