'Inside Out 2' Surpasses 'Frozen II,' Becomes Highest Grossing Animated Film of All Time

Inside Out 2 is setting the bar high and breaking records left and right!

The Disney/Pixar movie has just broken another record over a month after its release.

The sequel introduced new emotions and it has been resonating with fans, breaking records opening weekend, becoming the highest grossing movie in North America in 2024, outgrossing the original film, passing the $1 billion mark in record time and becoming the top-grossing film from Pixar.

Now, it’s the top-grossing animated movie of all time, surpassing another Disney feature – Frozen II!

Still in theaters, Inside Out 2 has earned $1.462 billion to date globally, surpassing Frozen II‘s $1.453 billion back in 2019.

After six weeks in theaters, the Pixar film has also crossed the $600 million mark at the domestic box office. The movie has yet to open in Japan, where it will debut August 1st and is sure to extend it’s box office numbers!
