Person in critical condition after falling from scaffolding

AUSTIN (KXAN) — Austin-Travis County EMS said a person had critical, life-threatening injuries after falling 30 feet from scaffolding at a construction site Wednesday.

ATCEMS said the incident occurred at approximately 12:40 p.m. in the 1400 block of Spyglass Drive, which is in south Austin.

Medics took the patient to a local hospital for treatment, according to ATCEMS.
