It was always going to be slower as people using the scanners first time. Bloke told me a couple weren’t working at the ‘Kop corner entrance which would not have helped.
Club should have put a couple of people at each entrance as there seemed to be some who just could get in and they caused the bulk of the delay.stewards no use whatsoever and just told them to go to the ticket office.
Don’t think there were anywhere near 10,000 queuing though more like 2 or 3. Took me about 25 minutes to get in which is probably double it usually would given the number in front of me.
