3-finger robotic gripper now available from Tesollo in North America

Tesollo Inc. offers grippers with two to five fingers for robotics applications. At CES 2024, the Incheon, South Korea-based company introduced the Delto Gripper 3-Finger, or DG-3F, a dexterous robotic manipulator. This month, it has made the gripper available for sale in North America.

The new DG-3F is suitable for many assembly tasks, according to Tesollo, which was founded in 2018. With its nimble fingers, the new gripper can perform tasks that previously required multiple end effectors or a tool change, such as unscrewing bolts and handling thin paper.

The DG-3F features three fingers and 12 joints, making it a highly flexible 3 for both research and industrial applications, Tesollo said. Each joint can be individually servo controlled with position and current feedback. The system also supports TCP/IP and Modbus TCP/RTU communication protocols, said the company.

Finger Joints 1 and 2 of the gripper are made of titanium for durability, and the fingertips are customizable. Tesollo added that its design enables in-hand manipulation for grasping objects, a crucial capability for object assembly and future automation advancements.
