'They never mention our crowds!': Trump whines media favors Kamala Harris’ rallies

Donald Trump clearly wasn’t happy with news coverage of Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent rally and quickly complained about “fake news media” distorting the size of the event at his campaign event Wednesday.

“They never mention our crowds!” Trump said, to boisterous applause from the crowd.

Trump held his first public campaign event at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte since the attempt on his life at a Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.

“The fake news say her crowd was amazing,” Trump said, estimating it had "maybe” a thousand people. “They said it was such a big crowd, such a beautiful crowd they never mention our crowd.”

After referring to his rally as a “lovefest,” Trump motioned to the television cameras in the back of hte arena livestreaming the event.

“I tell them 'look – at all those cameras back there,'” Trump said, soliciting boos from the audience. “And I always say, but they never do it – turn the cameras around to show them the crowd. They never want to do it.”

Photos of the event showed rows of empty seats in the upper part of the arena as the crowd filled in, but it’s unclear just how many were in attendance Wednesday.
