Harry Lawtey stands out in the scandalous Industry season 3 trailer

Would it surprise you to learn that tensions are high in Industry's trailer? Of course everyone in HBO's finance drama is going through it—they always are. Look, for example, at a stressed-out Yasmin (Marisa Abela), who is embroiled in a paparazzi scandal throughout the video. She is caught up in the net of the British press and Kit Harington, who joins the upcoming third season, which premieres this fall.The Game Of Thrones vet will play Henry Muck, the CEO of a green tech company called Lumi. Harington rarely smiled while guarding Westeros from icy villains, so it's nice that Industry allows him to let loose as a potentially skeevy corporate leader. We may be speaking too soon, but Harington seems to fit into the show's world perfectly. Also fitting in is Barry's Sarah Goldberg, another new addition. She joins as Petra Koenig, a portfolio manager who hired Harper (My'hala) after she was unceremoniously fired from the investment bank Pierpoint in the season two finale.Now, Harper and Petra have a vendetta against Pierpoint ("What if it was the short of the century?" Harper asks her boss). Meanwhile, Henry crosses paths with Yas, Robert (Harry Lawtey), and Eric (Ken Leung), probably intending for Lumi to team up with Pierpoint. Lawtey is the lowkey MVP of this two-minute clip, in which he almost talks directly to us as he says "I'm sure you've been programmed to expect something radical, but what I have for you today really isn't new at all." Does it mean our fave banker (and banker-adjacent) British freaks remain trapped in problems of their own making? We'll find out soon enough.Co-created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay, a slick Industry has been slept upon by most fans, including HBO die-hards, despite being a perfect follow-up to Succession. The show also stars Sagar Radia, Conor MacNeill, Adam Levy, Sarah Parish, Indy Lewis, Trevor White, and Irfan Shamji.The eight-episode third season premieres on Sunday, August 11 on HBO, so you still have time to catch up on seasons one and two.
