FBI Director Reveals There's 'Some Question' if Donald Trump Was Shot or Hit by Shrapnel During Assassination Attempt

The director of the FBI revealed that there are “some questions” about exactly what injured Donald Trump while he was speaking at a Pennsylvania rally earlier this month.

The 78-year-old politician said that he was hit by a bullet after the assassination attempt. He wore a large bandage over his ear while attending the Republican National Convention after.

Photos from the event show that the former president was bloodied. However, it is not yet clear if he was hit by a bullet or if it was shrapnel that caused the damage.

While testifying at the House Judiciary Committee, FBI director Christopher Wray explained the investigation.

“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” he explained, via ABC News.

Christopher was asked if all of the bullets were found, prompting him to explain: “It’s conceivable, although as I sit here right now, I don’t know whether that bullet, in addition to causing the grazing, could have also landed somewhere else.”

He added, “But I believe we’ve accounted for all the shots in the cartridges.”

Donald‘s doctor explained the full extent of his injury.
