Govt extends deadline for public comments on draft guidelines to curb spam calls, msgs till Aug 8

The government has extended the deadline to August 8 for public comments on draft guidelines aimed at curbing unsolicited business communications, including promotional calls and text messages. This move came after the food and consumer affairs ministry received requests for more time from various federations, associations, and other stakeholders.
