Assam govt opens new centre to assist NRC applicants without Aadhaar cards

Assam government opened a new center to help residents stuck without Aadhaar due to NRC complications. From July 25, 2024, the center will assist individuals by processing their claims. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma indicated that around 27 lakh people are affected, stressing the urgency to resolve these issues promptly.
