Pokémon fans can grab a free extra rare ‘mon via Mystery Gift in latest collaboration

EVERY so often, The Pokémon Company releases a new campaign where people can pick up new ‘mons.

If you own a copy of Scarlet or Violet, then you can download a number of free Pokémon and items via Mystery Gift.

Scarlet and Violet are collaborating with the anime this time to offer players a new starter Pokémon.

Players can pick up Roy’s Fuecoco right now via Mystery Gift to keep.

This is a special giveaway because players can only pick one between Sprigatitio, Quaxly and Fuecoco when you start the game.

Roy’s Fuecoco comes at level 5 just like the other starters and it has the starting moveset of Tackle and Ember.

All of its stats are described as Pretty Good, except the HP stat which is Fantastic. It also has the Blaze ability, a Fire Tera type, and a Hardy nature.

Its place of origin is labelled as “the Pokémon animated show”, and it has two ribbons giving the marks, Fuecoco the Pokémon fan, and Roy’s Fuecoco.

If you want to grab Roy’s Fuecoco for yourself you first need to navigate to the Poké Portal via the main menu.

You then select Mystery Gift, and choose Get via code/password. Here you should enter the code 909TEAMUP06.

Roy’s Fuecoco will then be sent to your game and you can find it in your team if you have space, or your boxes if you don’t.

This is just one of the Mystery Gifts currently available, but you can also claim Sprigatito and Quaxly.
