I’m fed up with dating – here’s the real reason women are scared of it and would rather get back with their exes
A MUM has revealed the real reason so many women go back to their exes – and her explanation will blow you away.
Lynne Cavanagh, 45, has three kids and has experienced the good and bad of getting back into the dating scene.
But there’s one major issue she reckons women are too scared to talk about, even though it’s often the first thing that enters their mind.
And it’s even worse because she thinks that men have no clue about the awkward predicament females find themselves in.
Posting on TikTok, Lynne (lynne_lyon) said: “It’s one of the reasons ladies are petrified to start dating again and another reason we sometimes go back to exes. Guys don’t understand it but women do.
“The first thing a woman thinks about when she meets a guy she likes – it’s not sleeping with him.
“It’s if she really likes this guy and is going overnight with him or spending a long period of time, she can’t fart.
“See the agony we’re in having to hold in our farts because guys seem to think we don’t do it.
“It’s absolutely excruciating pain and the longer we hold on, the worse it’s going to be.
“You can’t go all night lying next to somebody and not fart and you feel like you can’t sleep because you’re scared you’ll fart in your sleep so it’s just one big trauma for us.”
She added: “So it’s easier to get back with the ex. He knows you fart
“To all the women out there that hold in their farts, just let it go.
“Mine are loud. You can ask my weans, you can hear me from down the stairs.
“It’s better out than in girls.”
Those in the comments had their own thoughts on the sensitive issue.
One follower said: “I’ve NEVER broke wind in front of my hubby of 26 years – no joke.”
Another revealed: “As soon as I lay on my side at night that’s it, the farts naturally come out!… I’m single it’s been over four years and every night I think what your’e thinking.”
A woman added: “I totally agree with you, I’m single and think about this too, it gives me anxiety.”
While a romantic quipped: “When your partner farts in front of you, that’s when we know it’s love.”
