Handa’s stellar pitching help Brazil dominate Colombia
Amanda Handa’s dominant pitching and Brazil's efficient offence powered a 7-0 victory over Colombia in the WBSC U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup, with Hana allowing just one hit in five innings.

<p>Handa’s dominant outing included four walks and two strikeouts, as Colombia’s defence faltered with five errors. Brazil’s Maya Mune, Beatriz Miyoshi, and Emily Freitas each contributed key RBIs, ensuring only two of Brazil’s seven runs were earned.</p>

<p>Colombia loaded the bases in the second inning but failed to capitalise, as Handa retired the next two batters. Brazil took the lead in the bottom of the second with Mune’s RBI double. They extended their lead with a three-run third inning, off Freitas’ two-RBI single and Miyoshi’s run-scoring single. </p>
