Josh Hall’s Ex-Wife Is Calling Out His Lightning-Fast Marriage to Christina Hall Amid Their Divorce
When a celebrity couple is in a relationship, it’s a little easier for them to keep some things under wraps. From secret weddings to secret babies, there’s some level of secrecy that celebrity couples might choose to keep. When they split, however, often their secrets get spilled out, including why they broke up, their biggest marital problems, and so on.
For Christina Hall and Josh Hall, who are currently on the path for a messy divorce, we’re learning about another piece of their relationship puzzle: how closely their relationship was to Josh’s first divorce.
In a new interview with Us Weekly, Chelsea Hall, who was married to the police-officer-turned-realtor from 2016 to 2021, revealed that their relationship officially ended only a few months before his and Christina’s went public. According to Chelsea, they separated in February 2021 and she officially moved out in June. A month later, his relationship with the Flip or Flop star hit the headlines.
“I didn’t know about her or them having a relationship until photos came out,” Chelsea told the outlet. “I assumed he was having a relationship with someone. Only because it was something that came out of the blue.”
Of course, the news of their already-blossoming relationship only made her healing even harder. “It wasn’t an easy thing to see,” Chelsea said. “But I got through it and I’m on the other side. I think I was more in shock still and still getting over the divorce and out on my own and back to normal.”
Most recently, sources reported that Christina and Josh, who began their divorce proceedings on July 16 when Josh filed after two years of marriage, broke up because of incompatibilities over money and career success – something Chelsea vehemently disagreed on.
“He was a great provider,” Chelsea said of her ex. “Josh always did everything he could to take care of me and our life,” she recalled. “He always made sure we had the things we needed. He took a lot of pride in his house. He was always out doing stuff, working in the yard, taking care of our dogs. I can’t say anything bad about how he took care of his life.”
Christina, on the other hand, reportedly felt that side was lacking from her ex. “Christina works very hard and is successful,” a source told Us Weekly of the HGTV star. “She felt like Josh was not contributing enough to the household.”
Their different feelings on Josh aside, it sure is alarming to hear of Christina and Josh’s timeline now that Chelsea is giving her perspective. Looks like their relationship was messy from the start.
