Introducing the first release from the upcoming Fall ‘24 Willett Collection: The WT G1-Popo Chair (short for popolare). This chair, a reflection of our shared experiences, exemplifies Willett‘s signature design aesthetic, characterized by its soft right angles. The Popo Chair is both a functional piece of furniture and a work of art, perfect for working, dining, or simply relaxing. It’s aptly dubbed “the chair for everywhere.”

In collaboration with Basic.Space, Willett is offering The Popo Chair in a limited edition of just 14 pieces, each signed by the designer and featuring a lacquered finish.

Ben Willett, or Willet, is a designer known for his innovative approach to spaces, furniture, and objects. He blends various references to create something subtly new. Based in Los Angeles, his practice includes a showroom in the Arts District. Willett’s approach to furniture design is informed by his extensive experience as a creative director, designing spaces, experiences, and events for brands like Nike and The North Face.

The pandemic-induced move from New York to Los Angeles inspired Willett to design pieces for his own home, culminating in his debut collection for Willettspace. This series of warm wooden furnishings with gentle curves and personal touches embodies his “furniture for spaces, spaces for furniture” philosophy, transforming the ambiance of any room. His work serves as an inspiration for designers seeking to harmonize furniture and space.
