MANCHESTER, England—Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad are ramping up the aggression ahead of their championship fight at UFC 304, which takes place at Co-op Live on Saturday.

Edwards, who defends his welterweight title for the third time when he fights Muhammad, got right in the face of his opponent, who responded by making a hand gesture that looked like he was miming putting a gun to Edwards’ head. This is likely a reference to Edwards’ famous “headshot, dead” quote that he uttered after defeating Kamaru Usman via an unbelievable fifth-round head kick knockout at UFC 278 to become champion.
In response, Edwards faked a lunge at Muhammad, but the challenger did not flinch, and the two were then held apart.
The faceoff highlights also include a respectful handshake between interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall and Curtis Blaydes, and lightweights King Green and Paddy Pimblett jawing at each other on stage.
