Nigel on stately stories

The host of Sandringham: A Royal Residence With Nigel Havers told The Sun TV Mag, free with  the paper tomorrow: “I knew it as the place the royals went for Christmas, but that was about it, so it was a pleasure to learn the story. I found it fascinating that Sandringham had its own time zone, 30 minutes ahead of the rest of the country, to allow Prince Albert to make the most of daylight hours.

“And King Charles rents out some properties on the estate on Airbnb, although it will cost you about £2,000 a week.”
