Four New Colorways Enrich Accutron DNA Collection

Accutron introduces the Accutron DNA collection, renowned for its futuristic aesthetic and unmistakable style, with four striking new strap colorways previously seen only in the Casino collection: green, blue, orange, and red. These new additions honor Accutron’s storied past with the signature open-face design while looking ahead with a proprietary electrostatic energy movement featuring a meticulously engineered motor and turbine system.

Originally launched in 2020, this ingenious design is equipped with twin turbines that rotate because of human motion at incredible speeds between two electrodes affixed to the movement. The energy, stored in an accumulator, powers two motors: a world’s first electrostatic motor fueling the fluid second hand and a step motor powering the hour and minute hands.

To ensure power saving, the second hand automatically stops at 12 o’clock after 5 minutes of no activity, while the timepiece continues to keep time and the hour and minute hand keep moving. The second hand is easily activated and put once again in motion by simply swinging one’s arm fully up and down for 3 to 5 seconds. The four newcomers offer a colorful twist on the open design and bring the fascinating details to the forefront.

The green model features a case in stainless steel, a silver-grey open-work dial and polished silver-tone hands with signature Accutron green accents on the outer minute ring. The blue model combines a stainless steel case in combo rose-gold tone and grey finish and a black open-work dial and rose-gold tone hands with muted grey detail on the outer hour/minute ring.

The red iteration comes in a stainless steel case in combo matte black and muted grey finish and a matte black open-work dial and hands with muted grey detail on the outer hour/minute ring, while the orange features a stainless steel case in combo grey and dark blue and a blue open-work dial and silver-tone hands with silver-grey accent on the outer hour/minute ring.

The watches, in a 41.5-mm integrated case, replicate the look of the original Spaceview, highlighting the exposed dial-side movement which shows a high-grade finish quality.

The new Accutron DNA styles are mounted on color-coordinated rubber straps equipped with a double-press deployant clasp and available as of now. Each piece retails for $3,500.
