Jennifer Lopez Shows Off Her Voice, Celebrates Her Birthday With Barbra Streisand Cover (Listen)

Jennifer Lopez gave her fans the gift of live vocals for her birthday.

The entertainer turned 55 on Wednesday (July 24) and took to social media the next morning to share a video of herself singing about happy days on the horizon with her friend and vocal coach Steve Mackey.

The pair covered Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland‘s iconic “Happy Days are Here Again / Get Happy” mashup, and she certainly pulled the vocal trigger.

“Happy days are here again / the skies above are clear again,” Jennifer sings while sitting on a couch alongside Steve. She dressed up for the occasion, wearing a sheer dress with floral decals and glamorous earrings.

Amid rumors about her love life and a cancelled tour, Jennifer promised that “happy days are here again.”

“Here’s to a new and HAPPY year around the sun,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
