LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- A Duson man accused of killing three people in Lafayette in April has been indicted on three counts of first-degree murder, court records show.

Chad Michael Credeur, 42, of Duson, was indicted Wednesday by a grand jury in the 15th Judicial District Court for the murders of Brandon Touchet, Elizabeth Reames and Eric Green on April 11.

Authorities got a call related to a welfare concern in the 700 block of S. College Road in Lafayette. Officers showed up to the home and tried to contact the person of concern, but once police entered the residence to search for the individual, they discovered three dead bodies, according to LPD.

At the time of Creduer’s arrest in Jeff Davis Parish, he was in possession of all three victim’s identification and some personal belongings, according to authorities.

An indictment means a grand jury determined that enough evidence exists to warrant a trial on the charges leveled. The scheduled date of that trial has not yet been released.
