Police: 'Drive-by' shootings reported on same Elgin street

ELGIN, Texas (KXAN) — The City of Elgin will hold a press conference Thursday after three reported "deadly conduct" incidents happened on the same street in July.

Elgin Police said the "drive-by" shootings happened on Elgin's East Alamo Street in July, causing damage to homes and vehicles, Elgin Police said in a release. No one has been injured in the shootings, police said.

Police said two incidents happened on July 8 and another happened Wednesday, July 24, around 3:27 a.m.

EPD said it is "actively investigating" the incidents.
