I was on Love Island this year – show bosses made me reshoot challenge FOUR times
ONE former islander has revealed that bosses made her reshoot a challenge four times.
Lauren “Lolly” Hart, 30, only lasted five days in the infamous ITV2 villa as she attempted to find love.
She was brought onto Love Island as a bombshell just after Josh Oyinsan and Reuben Collins made their dramatic entrances.
The reality star got to know Konnor Ewudzi, 28, during her short stint in the long-running dating competition.
However, her stay was memorable as she took part in the infamous The Snog Marry Pie challenge.
Every year, fans look forward to the task which see’s islanders put their relationships to the test as they answer cheeky questions with dramatic gestures.
But Lolly admitted that bosses made her shove a pie into the face of Reuben multiple times in a bid to seemingly try and create more drama.
In order to get the right shot, she revealed that she was made to shove the cream dish into his face four times.
“For that challenge, they made me reshoot it four times,” she told OK! Magazine.
“The producer would say ‘No, do it again. We need a better reason.’ My reason was because of his energy.”
She added: “He was so loud in the morning sometimes and I’m not a morning person but the producers said that reason wasn’t enough.
“Each time I did it, they said, ‘No, we need more,’ so I ended up shooting it four times.”
Lolly and Konnor were eventually dumped from the villa on day 44 of the competition.
When they departed the show together, they declared that their romance would continue on the outside world.
But according to the outlet, they now say they are just friends as Konnor admitted: “We’ve seen each other a lot but we are just friends.”
This was as Lolly agreed with her co-star, adding: “Yeah, it’s just friends vibes.”

Lauren “Lolly” Hart entered the show on day 39.
She was given the chance to go on three dates in the hideaway with boys of her choosing.
The star chose to pull Joey, Konnor and Ciaran respectively.
Just a day later, there was a recoupling where the boys got to choose the girls to recouple with.
But as the newest bombshell, Lolly was able to choose first.
She chose to couple up with Konnor as they opted to try and get to know each other.
Before they were dumped, the pair also hosted another challenge called “Game, Sex, Match”.
All the islanders were dressed as tennis players and they were served a series of questions.
If they got the questions right, they could take a step forward towards the net.
But if they got an answer wrong, squash would then be thrown in their face.
On day 44, there was a public vote for the most compatible couple.
Lolly and Konnor landed in the bottom three alongside Grace and Reuben, and Jess S and Ayo.
Ciaran and Nicole received the most public votes and the decision of who to dump was up to them.
The duo decided to axe Lolly and Konnor who were then unceremoniously dumped from the island.
