LOVE Island is nearing the end of its journey and only one couple can be crowned the winners.

Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies, who have been together since the first week, are the current favourites to win the summer 2024 series.

But Syncd’s relationship expert Jessie Hutter has revealed that another couple in the villa could beat them to the £50k cash prize.

She said: “I think Josh and Mimii might do it. Ciaran and Nicole obviously have been strong from the start, which is also quite rare in itself.

“They both seem to have a genuine connection but I think there still might be some doubts in people’s minds because they’ve had quite a turbulent journey throughout the villa, whereas the drama that’s unfolded with Joey, Sean, Ayo, Josh and Mimii has created quite a strong public backing for Josh and Mimii as a couple to win, and I think Josh and Mimi will do it.

“I think there’s obviously a massive public backing for Mimii in particular.

“I think she’s been quite a firm public favourite from the start, and I think Joey and Sean’s behaviour has been seen from some people as almost bullyish and that means people have garnered support behind Mimii, who they like anyway.

“They’ve now seen that Josh has come in, has treated her probably better than Ayo and I think there’ll be a lot of backing for them to win, and I also think they’re really cute together.”

According to bookmakers BetMGM, Ciaran and Nicole are ahead of the pack with odds of winning at 2/5.

However, Jessica and Ayo are at the end of the group with the betting giant giving them a score of 28/1.

Matilda and Sean are in second with odds of 5/1 and Mimii and Josh coming in third with odds of 11/2.

Meanwhile, reality superstar Joey Essex might not be able to turn his off-screen popularity into a victory, as he and Jessy currently rank fourth.

The couple have odds of 9/1.
