One eagle-eyed customer posted in the Extreme Coupons and Bargaining UK Facebook Group that the activity pool has been reduced from £115 to £51 as part of Tesco‘s summer sale.

One person commented: “Kids would love”.

Someone else wrote: “This is one I want.”

Another person added: “Can u grab me one of these if u have a Tesco card.”

And one person made the suggestion: “Get it for next summer.”

The pool holds up to five people aged six and over, with a simple snap-in pole assembly for a simple setup, a strong metal frame and a puncture-resistant liner.

There is also an effective cartridge filter pump which effectively keeps water clean, and a sturdy pool cover to keep water debris-free when not in use.

Savvy shoppers wanting to make the most of the British Summer have been going wild for Tesco’s summer clearance sale – with outdoor furniture costing as little as £7.45.

You can find your nearest branch by using the stock locator tool on the Tesco website.

Shops often get rid of summer stock for cheap ahead, to make way for the new Autumn ranges coming in store.

It also means stock that’s discounted can vary from one store to the next.

If you prefer shopping online, there are also a few decent deals to be found on the Tesco website.

The Cream Charles Betley Garden Metal Patio Umbrella, with an expansive canopy, is reduced from £44.99 to £34.99 – a 22% price drop.

There’s also the portable Olpro Folding Camp table. With a sturdy aluminium table top.

This dining item folds up, making it easy to carry if you’re on the move. Originally priced at £70, you can now buy it for £46 – which means shoppers are getting a 48% discount.

Just don’t forget to factor in delivery costs too.

While the Tesco offer is hard to bear, it is always good to shop around.

For example, currently, the Funsicle 10ft activity pool is also on sale in Argos for £150.

How to get the best deals

When hunting around for deals, it’s important to shop around, and the quickest way to do this is to use price comparison websites such as Google Shopping or Price Spy

And if you find a great deal online, you should always try and earn a bit extra by seeing if you can use a cashback website when buying your items.

These are websites such as Topcashback that pay you a cash reward when you click through from their site to buy things.

But while price comparison websites are great for online orders – to grab some of the best bargains it is always worth heading in-store to see if there are any extra price drops.

Supermarkets such as Sainsbury’s, and Asda as well as Tesco all sell furniture and have loyalty cards, which can also help lower the cost of furnishing your home.

How to compare prices to get the best deal

JUST because something is on offer, or is part of a sale, it doesn't mean it's always a good deal.

There are plenty of comparison websites out there that’ll check prices for you – so don’t be left paying more than you have to.

Most of them work by comparing the prices across hundreds of retailers.

Here are some that we recommend:

  • Google Shopping is a tool that lets users search for and compare prices for products across the web. Simply type in keywords, or a product number, to bring up search results.
  • Price Spy logs the history of how much something costs from over 3,000 different retailers, including Argos, Amazon, eBay and the supermarkets. Once you select an individual product you can quickly compare which stores have the best price and which have it in stock.
  • Idealo is another website that lets you compare prices between retailers. All shoppers need to do is search for the item they need and the website will rank them from the cheapest to the most expensive one.
  • CamelCamelCamel only works on goods being sold on Amazon. To use it, type in the URL of the product you want to check the price of.
