All members are encouraged to submit bylaw changes & board applications by August 15 for approval during this year's AGM.

The 2023 Annual General Meeting for the Victoria Bowmen was a big one, and this year’s AGM will be discussing several important issues as well. Among those will be the Club Bylaws and Board of Directors for 2025.

Please note that both Board and Bylaw changes can only be made with 30 days notice, so bylaw proposals and new board position applications will actually need to be approved at the club’s board meeting at 6:30 PM on August 15th at Saanich Commonwealth.

Help Direct the Future of Victoria Bowmen

The club administration is always looking for fresh ideas, so please don’t hesitate to attend! All paid club members are eligible to make proposals regardless of age or experience.

You can easily review the club’s current constitution & bylaws, board of directors, and board member duties on the website, as well as needed volunteer positions. The club is also looking for archers to serve in paid coaching positions.

If you would like to submit any bylaw changes or board applications ahead of time to be considered on August 15th, please reach out via the club’s contact form and choose “Club Administration” as your reason for emailing.

Changes can also be proposed at the meeting without prior consideration, but submitting them ahead of time will give board members more time to consider them and may result in faster approval and/or more time for discussion during the meeting.
