'J.D. Vance is a creep': Harris campaign has fangs out over cat lady commentary

Vice President Kamala Harris is refusing to pussyfoot around her views on Sen. J.D. Vance's cat lady comments.

"Vance is a creep," her campaign said. "JD Vance is weird. Voters know it."

Harris' campaign slapped back Friday as Donald Trump's running mate was hit by lurid social media claims involving a couch — which were debunked by the Associated Press in a since-deleted article — and enraged Hollywood celebrities enraged Hollywood celebrities, fans of Taylor Swift and fellow Republicans with his jab at childless women.

Vance has responded by calling Jennifer Aniston "disgusting."

"Vance is the most unpopular VP pick in decades," Harris' campaign wrote in an email. "This week, we're all finding out just how creepy JD Vance and his Project 2025 plans are."

The Harris campaign responded directly to new reporting that Vance supports higher taxes for childless Americans because the nation should "punish the things that we think are bad."

Her campaign also references resurfaced audio in which Vance argues for a "federal response" to block women from traveling to procure abortions.

"Vance made these comments on a podcast hosted by a Twitter user he follows who called for putting 'misogynists back in the Oval Office' and said that 'we need to stop normalizing consent,'" Harris' campaign notes.

"All this evidence begs the question: Why is JD Vance so obsessed with tracking women’s personal health care decisions?"
