Shoppers rave over home essentials inspired by retro childhood sweet at popular discounter supermarket for just £2.50

BARGAIN-HUNTERS are dashing into B&M to get their hands on some Love Hearts themed petcare – and all items are just £2.50.

Thrifty shoppers took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group to rave about the retailer’s latest confectionery-inspired range.

Earlier this week, foodies on the Facebook group spotted an edible item from the range – but The Sun has since discovered they also cater to your pet needs.

The reviewer revealed: “New Swizzles Love Hearts Jelly Beans spotted at B&M.”

One gutted sweet-lover wrote: “I was in there earlier how did I miss these.”

While another admitted they taste like “cheap jelly beans”.

The Liverpool-founded budget chain B&M also unveiled a Love Hearts collection including several items to keep your pup in check.

If you struggle to get your pup on board with hair washing, Swizzels Love Hearts Dirty Dog Shampoo may come in handy.

And like the other items in the range, the 250ml bottle is only £2.50.

B&M describe the grooming product as “complete with the scent of delicious Love Heart sweets”.

They also claim it’ll “keep your dog smelling fresh and clean”.

Their pet hygiene offering also extends to Swizzels Love Hearts Pet Cologne, also priced at £2.50 for a 250ml bottle.

If you catch a whiff of something unpleasant on your dog’s coat, it might be worth dousing them with this sweet scent.

The last item inspired by the sugary nostalgic treat is the Swizzels Love Hearts Pet Stain & Odour Remover 500ml.

You can get a huge 500ml bottle for the same £2.50 price tag.

The cleaning product will serve as a particularly refreshing way to combat your pet’s sometimes foul odours.

It’s not the first time Love Hearts has hopped on a fun trend.

The iconic sweets brand previously made a major change to its packaging to mark the King’s Coronation in 2023.

The childhood sweets are known for having romantic phrases written on them, including “kiss me” and “true love”.

But 200,000 sweets were made with the words “King”, “Charles” and “Congrats” emblazoned on them to mark the royal occasion.

Swizzles sold the Coronation sweets on its website for £5.99 as a gift box, which included five packets of Love Hearts and a commemorative token.

Postage was priced at £3.12, with the total exceeding a whopping £9.

The commemorative sweets were much pricier than the usual offering, which cost 25p at both Tesco and Asda at the time.
