Meet Cook-N-Bacon, the dynamic Team USA diving duo headed to the 2024 Paris Olympics
Two of the best women divers in the United States are headed to the 2024 Paris Olympics, and they’ve got a fantastic nickname to show for it.
Divers Kassidy Cook and Sarah Bacon make up “Cook-N-Bacon,” who jointly qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics last month at the U.S. Olympic trials in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Cook and Bacon scored 629.82 points on the two lists of women’s synchronized 3-meter dives during the trials’ opening day, according to a release from USA Diving.
In the June final, USA Diving noted that the duo scored 70.20 points on their last dive, pulling off an excellent two-and-a-half somersaults with a twist on their winning joint attempt.

This will be Cook and Bacon’s first Olympics competing together after jointly missing out on the 2021 Olympic Games.
This will be Bacon’s first time participating at the Olympics, while Cook became the first woman diver to make non-consecutive U.S. Olympic teams after competing in the 2016 Olympic Games, per the USA Diving release.
Diving fans can catch “Cook-N-Bacon” in action during this year’s Olympics on Saturday, July 27, in the 2024 women’s synchronized 3-meter springboard final for Team USA.
