Report: Tottenham are finally set to win transfer tussle after weeks of negotiating
Milan News report that AC Milan are finally willing to end the ‘total stalemate’ with Tottenham and buckle to their demands this summer.
The stalemate appears to be over
Milan News say that Emerson Royal has always been the priority target for AC Milan this summer, even though they hit a roadblock in talks with Tottenham and looked at other candidates.
Fortunately, after a period of ‘total stalemate’, AC Milan are now back at the negotiating table with Spurs and are finally willing to agree to the North Londoner’s demands – or at least get closer to them.
It is said that Emerson himself has been pushing hard for the move in the background, which has gone a long way to encouraging AC Milan to make their move.
Emerson Royal to AC Milan
The fees being reported by publications all seem to differ, but the running theme seems to be that Spurs and AC Milan are now only €3m-€5m apart in their Emerson Royal valuations.
Fabrizio Romano has that figure at €3m (£2.5m), while Sky Italia say Milan have bid €15m (£12.7m) but Tottenham are still holding out for €20m (£16.9m).
Whatever the numbers, Gianluca Di Marzio insists that Spurs and Milan are closer than ever to finally getting this deal done, even if there is a little more work still left to do.
Spurs Web Opinion:
My prediction is that this will be done within the next seven days.
Spurs will agree to a loan with an obligation to buy, with a total package that reaches around £15m.
