'Creature Commandos' Gets First Teaser Trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, Premiere Date Revealed - Watch!

The official first look at the upcoming adult animated series Creature Commandos was just revealed at San Diego Comic-Con!

The upcoming DC project is set to be the first released under the new DCU, with all episodes written and executive produced by co-CEO James Gunn.

Several past DC stars are reprising their characters in voice roles, and are set to continue playing these characters in live action as well!

Here’s a synopsis: Creature Commandos tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans. When all else fails…they’re your last, worst option.

Starring in the series are Steve Agee as Economos, Maria Bakalova as Princess Ilana, Anya Chalotra as Circe, Zoe Chao as Nina Mazursky, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., Sean Gunn as GI Robot & Weasel, David Harbour as Frankenstein, Alan Tudyk as Dr. Phosphorus, Indira Varma as The Bride, and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.

The new show is set to debut in December on Max. An exact release day was not revealed.

If you missed it, Frank Grillo is also currently working on Peacemaker season two, and he’s set to appear in the upcoming Superman movie!
