The Olympian walked the red carpet wearing a red fitted midi dress that featured a square neckline and sheer sleeves. She accessorized with a red patent leather handbag and silver jewelry including a tennis bracelet.

Williams completed the look with a pair of camel pumps. The leather set featured a sleek silhouette that slimmed into a pointed toe. The back of the heels were hidden from view but she was most likely supported by a stiletto heel that was about 3 inches tall. The heels are strikingly similar to Christian Louboutin’s Kate pumps that retail for $795.

Pointed-toe pumps are a capsule piece that is usually seen at every red carpet event. The classic silhouette is known for its versatility and simplicity, easily being paired with different looks. The heels are seen throughout the retail market, especially within high-end labels like Stuart Weitzman’s Stuart 100 Pumps.

Paris is creating history by having the 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, and a majority of the games, outside of a stadium on the Seine. The 10,500 athletes will cross through the center of Paris as this year’s Games are commemorated with special performances like a rendition of Zizi Jeanmaire’s “Mon Truc En Plumes” performed by Lady Gaga. Tennis player Coco Gauff and basketball player LeBron James will act as Team USA’s flag bearers as they lead Team USA during the ceremony. This year, the Games will run from July 26 to August 11.
