The long-awaited 2024 Paris Olympics kicked off on July 26 with a spectacular opening ceremony including musical performances, dancing, fashion, and, of course, boats parading around the Seine representing countries from all around the world. Before the elaborate event commenced, a wide range of stars posed on the red carpet in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower, showing off their best apparel and footwear.

Drawing parallels with her “Wicked” character Glinda, Ariana Grande wore pink and white brogue-style stilettos with a pink dress from Thom Browne.
Also paying homage to her “Wicked” character, Elphaba, Cynthia Erivo paired shiny green pumps with a satiny emerald gown and wide-brimmed hat.
Chrissy Teigen wore two-toned strappy heels while John Legend wore clean white sneakers; son Miles wore velcro white sneakers while daughter Luna wore shiny pink ballet flats.
